The Southend Pier Railway is a narrow gauge railway in the English seaside resort of Southend-on-Sea. It runs the 1.34 miles length of Southend Pier, providing public passenger transport from the shore to the pier head. On a clear day you can hear the unmistakable rattle of the train rolling along the world’s longest pleasure pier.
